The Caravelle Resort: Reasons Why We’re Great For Families
When vacationing with your family there are many factors to consider for choosing a resort. When it comes to children, there must be plenty of amenities to make the resort a wonderful experience with a plethora of activities and not just a place to sleep. The Caravelle has something for everyone and will keep you coming back and craving more.Tons and Tons of Water Works:
There are indoor and outdoor pools, a lazy river, a kiddie lazy river, and a Wild Water Pool with sprinklers and more. An endlessly entertaining activity is swimming and playing water games and it is almost every child's favorite. You will most assuredly win parent of the week with constant pool time. The added bonus is having water options within steps of your resort room, so you don't have to go far for fun!
On Site Dining:
Most eating excursions with kids involve extra time and effort which is why having a restaurant at the resort may be a resourceful way to receive an easy meal without skimping out on good taste and quality. After swimming and floating and sandcastle building, everyone will be famished and searching for the closest meal. You do not have to compromise a good dinner -- just head down to the Santa Maria Restaurant for one of their seasonal summer dinners, held most days of the week (click here special event for details). If you'd rather start the day with a large meal, then congregate at the Santa Maria for their popular breakfast.
Other eateries on site include the Liquids Lounge which serves the coolest drinks with a full bar, the Pirate's Cove Ice Cream and Sandwich Shop, and the Marco Polo Pool Bar and Grill. For the most vacation friendly service, order food and drinks right from your lounge chair.
Caravelle Kids’ Club:
All summer long, until Labor Day Weekend, The Caravelle Resort runs children's activities daily. These games include beach games, pool games, scavenger hunts, arts and crafts and more. Every day recreation geared towards kids leaves you with a little less responsibility when it comes to ensuring your children have a good time. Many of these daily activities are free for Caravelle Resort guests, however some do have a fee. See the front desk for more information.
