Relaxing Golf Vacation Packages are at The Caravelle
When it comes to golf vacations, people visit the Caravelle over and over again because of the outstanding hospitality within its golf department.
“I would say that approximately 80% of the golfers who visit the resort return the following year,” says Kenny Thompson, a worker within the resort’s subdivision. “Our main goal is to make everyone comfortable and happy so that they will want to come back and see us next season,” he says.
Bill Camp has been the Golf Coordinator at The Caravelle for seven years.
“We can do a job for you that’s out of this world, he says. “We’ll book your golf, your hotel, and talk to you about restaurants. We can do the entire thing. Just put yourself in our hands and you can have a great vacation.”
There are many golf packages to choose from. For example, if you stay three nights or longer the Grand Value Three Round Package allows you to pick three rounds from Arcadian Shores, Farmstead, Grand Dunes, Meadowlands, Myrtlewood Palmetto, Myrtlewood Pine Hills, Pine Lakes, Prestwick, River Hills, and Tidewater. The Classic Three-plus-Three Package lets you choose from Black Bear, Burning Ridge, Indian Wells, and Founder’s Club. The Barefoot Free Round Package gives you the fourth round free at any Barefoot course (there are four of them). Each of these packages includes a welcome gift when you arrive at The Caravelle, and also the resort’s famous Southern Style breakfast buffet.
“I moved from Long Island down here years ago,” Bill said.
“Why’d you move so far away from home?’ I asked.
“Witness protection and bill collectors,” he said. “No, just kidding. I actually retired down here. I was an insurance executive and worked in downtown Manhattan.”
Now he gets to slow down & relax in beautiful Myrtle Beach. When you check into The Caravelle Resort, he and his department will help you and your group do the same.
