New Shows at the Palace Theatre for 2013
For captivating musicals, intriguing Broadway theatre productions, and fascinating live entertainment, there is no better venue in Myrtle Beach than the Palace Theatre. This newly renovated structure will be home in 2013 to some equally fresh presentations, including “Jersey Nights” which starts on February 5th and “Illusions of Magic”, beginning on March 19th.
Franky Valli and the Four Seasons (the popular 1960’s American rock band from New Jersey) featured tenor Bob Gaurdio on the keyboards, bass singer Nick Massi on bass guitar, and the lead guitarist Tommy DeVito, who sang baritone. The group’s first hit “Sherry” was released in 1962 and was followed up by many more classics including “Bye Bye, Baby”, “Oh What a Night” and “Big Girls Don’t Cry”. The Palace’s much anticipated production, “Jersey Nights”, is an evocative journey down memory lane that features an exquisite set of performers and vocalists donning the genuine costumes and displaying the one-of-a-kind melodic arrangements of this timeless band.
“Illusions of Magic”
Vanishings, transformations, levitations, and escapes – these are some of the things that you look to engulf yourself in at a dreamy, mystic performance. “Illusions of Magic”, another new show that takes place this year at the Palace, is sure to satisfy the thrilling part of you that craves impressions of the paranormal. This spectacle of special effects includes graceful dancers, intricate scenery, and has stunned crowds internationally. It’s no wonder why this captivating show has been one of the best in the world for years.
The Palace is located at 1420 Celebrity Circle at Broadway at the Beach. Caravelle Resort guests receive one free child’s voucher with the purchase of an adult ticket when they flash their VMB Card. Whichever show you and your family see will be among the many great ones that have been held at the theatre in the past.
