Fun Summer Events in July
Summer is just warming up, but Myrtle Beach has lots of cool events to make you forget about the heat!
The biggest celebration of the summer, "Hot Summer Nights", is going on now through August in Plyler Park at the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk along Ocean Boulevard. All summer long, the entire family will enjoy free entertainment including concerts, fireworks, kids carnivals and more! And the best part ... it is all oceanfront! Come see Boardwalk Elvis and other talented performers on Sunday & Friday nights at 8pm. The kids will have a blast at the Kids Carnival on Monday nights from 7-10pm. There will even be inflatables! Every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday this summer, relax and enjoy the music of our great local talent as well as regional bands. The concerts are performed from 8-11pm on the I Love Sugar Stage at the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk. Featuring rock, country, jazz, pop, and more, there's music that will appeal to everyone! Then, on Wednesday nights enjoy live music at the Oceanfront Bar & Grill Stage on 9th Avenue at 8pm, followed by a fireworks display at 10pm.
Another "can't miss" fun family tradition is the 32nd Annual Murrells Inlet July 4th Boat Parade. The event kicks off at 10am from Garden City Point, and then heads over to the Murrells Inlet Marsh Walk, and then to the Murrells Inlet Jetty View Walk. The parade theme is "Red, White & Southern". So put on your red, white and blue, and take in the beauty of Murrells Inlet!
Later in the month, Broadway at the Beach will host the 13th Annual Mustang Week from July 14-18, 2015. You will see everything from classic and pristine show cars to built drag cars and daily street driven cars. From autocross and burnout contests, to car shows, cruise-ins and drag racing, this is a one of a kind event!
The fun doesn't stop in Myrtle Beach, so call The Caravelle Resort today to make your reservation!
