Where to Catch the Best Sunrise

Visiting Myrtle Beach at The Caravelle Resort most likely means that you have a view of the ocean, sand and sky.  Since the sun rises at a different time throughout the year, check the weather before venturing out for that breathtaking view.  Remember not to glare directly at the sun, but enjoy the rise with your spouse, friends or family.

Catching the view from your balcony or out on the sand itself is ideal because it is just steps away from your bed.  Many of the buildings at The Caravelle Resort offer rooms with ocean views, and if not, you have close beach access.

Market Common is a niche in Myrtle Beach that is always serene even when it is bustling with people. Valor Park, is located in the heart of Market Common and will serve up a quiet and spectacular view of the sunrise with their walking paths, pond filled with ducks and geese and the swings and benches.  If you hold out for the cafe's and restaurants to open then you have a wonderful morning ahead!

Springmaid Pier is located on the south end of Myrtle Beach and opens at 6:00 a.m. which most of the year is before sunrise.  There are plenty of breakfast places on that side of town so enjoy yourself while you explore Myrtle Beach

2nd Avenue Pier offers not only fishing and sunrise watching but also has a bar and restaurant attached.  Some of the best seafood is served up there and they open at 11:00 a.m. in the off season and 8:00 a.m. during the summer months. The food for any meal during the day is superb.

Make sure that on one of the mornings during your stay at The Caravelle Resort, you catch the tantalizing views of the sun as it rises above the ocean.  There are some wonderful pictures to be taken and memories to be had with beauty of that magnitude.
