The Myrtle Beach Boardwalk
If you’re looking for a nice place to take a stroll without getting sand between your toes, visit the 1.2-mile Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade. The Boardwalk stretches from the winding park at 2nd Avenue Pier then ends just past Pier 14.
Myrtle Beach built what we now call The Boardwalk in May of 2010 and is a favorite stop for locals and guests alike. It’s enjoyed by all ages, whether you are taking pictures or enjoying the convenient beach accesses along its length.
Boardwalk Attractions
There are many attractions around the Boardwalk to fill your day or night with delights, including:
· Myrtle Beach SkyWheel
· Fun Plaza Family Fun Center
· Sling Shot Thrill Ride
· Myrtle Beach Zipline Adventures

Boardwalk Restaurants
Choosing where to eat is a welcomed challenge when you choose to dine on the Boardwalk, with restaurants including:
· LandShark Bar and Grill
· Pier House Restaurant at 2nd Avenue Pier
· Pier 14 Restaurant

The Boardwalk also offers activities and FREE entertainment all summer long! There is a kid’s carnival on Monday nights complete with the huge inflatable bounce houses, face painters and much more. There are concerts on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, and the always spectacular fireworks show on Wednesday nights.
Even though the Boardwalk took almost nine months to build and cost Myrtle Beach a whopping $6.5 million, it has been time and money well spent that Myrtle Beach guests love. It will definitely be your favorite mile to walk on the shoreline.
Many of the Boardwalk attractions and restaurants offer discounts or specials when you present the VMB discount card – included with every reservation, totally free and worth over $300 in savings! Ready to book your next getaway? We have accommodations deals all year round!
