Caravelle Cup Golf Tournament To Support The Special Operations Wounded Warriors

Golfing with a purpose this spring can mean more than shaving off a few strokes from your game. Book your package now to play in The Caravelle Resort's Caravelle Cup Golf Tournament which will run May 18th through May 20th to support the Special Operations Wounded Warriors.

Last year the fundraiser raised more than $8,000 for the military charity and this funding has made a huge impact on the difference SOWW was able to have on the community.  The organization was founded to assist and recognize veterans and active duty special operation military through a variety of special activities and experiences.

Caravelle Cup Agenda:

There will be an open bar and heavy hors d’oeuvres offered at the Caravelle Conference Center at St. John’s on May 18th with check-in from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

The Caravelle Cup will feature two tournament rounds of golf with the first round being a Texas Scramble format located at Pine Lakes Country Club on May 19th beginning at 12:30 pm.  On the second day, May 20th, the Best Ball format will ensue at the Grand Dunes Resort Golf Course at 12:30 pm.

On Friday, May 19th from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, there will be a player's party in honor of Special Operations Wounded Warriors at The Caravelle Conference Center at St. John’s Inn.  Here you will find an open bar, heavy hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction and more.

Come enjoy the best time of year to golf in Myrtle Beach, the comfortable accommodations at The Caravelle Resort, and the rewarding feeling brought on by supporting a good cause such as Special Operations Wounded Warriors.

If you would like to sign up for the fundraiser, please call Tournament Chairman Ken Thompson at 843-918-7008.
