Our Myrtle Beach Stay

We have been coming to Myrtle Beach since we moved here from Kansas in 2003. Our kids were 10 and 9 at the time and had never seen the ocean. Having grown up in New Jersey and my husband in PA , we never thought much about our kids never seeing the ocean. We moved to Virginia because my husband was transferred from Ft. Leavenworth , Kansas to Fort Lee , Virginia. We decided once we were unpacked that we would take our first family beach vacation. What a blast we had! Our kids were amazed and actually a little frightened at first when they noticed the waves moving in and out. My daughter actually lost her footing and both kids just laughed at her falling down. They were taken in by the vastness of the ocean. Our first 4 days there will always be a special memory for them and us. Since then we have taken several trips back to Myrtle Beach and each is always a special time for us.
My son will be graduating from high school this up coming year, and will be going off to college. It will also be our 20th anniversary. We will for sure be spending it at Myrtle Beach. It may be our last time to get together as a family and I'm sure it will be wonderful.
The beach has always been our favorite time spent together.
