Our first ever family vacation

This was our family's first family vacation together. My kids are 3 and 7. We have been saving for the last 2 years so we could give them and us a vacation to remember. That was definately a success.

My husband is from CA and he wanted to go to the ocean. I knew that he would love Myrtle Beach. I use to go to MB with my parents when I was younger. We always had a blast.

We arrived late in the day on Saturday June 4th and stayed until June 10th. We checked in and went straigth to the beach even though it was starting to get dark out. My kids have never seen the ocean. Even though they couldn't see it in the dark they LOVED playing in the water and the sand on the beach. I actually sheded a tear or two seeing them so happy and actually spending family quality time together. My husband and I needed it so much and it was a blessing to be able to spend our time in Myrtle Beach at the Caravelle.

We got up the next day and went to the beach. The kids were amazed by the ocean. For me it was a dream vacation finally come true. My husband and I got to spend quality time together while the kids enjoyed the beach.

We went to the boardwalk, Ripley's Aquarium, Broadway at the beach, and saw Pirates Voyage. We all loved the show! We were at the beach a lot too.

Before we knew it, it was time to go home. I sheded a few tears then that out vacation was over. I loved spending time with my family in MB at the Caravelle. We all can't wait to come back! Thank you so much for the a great family vacation! We'll be back.
