Oh, The Memories Made From August 18 - 22, 2009

Each year I take my grandson to the beach just to spend some one on one time with him. He is six years old and I've done this for the past 3 years. This was our first visit to Myrtle Beach, and I must admit I was a little nervous about going as this was just a grandmother and a six year old. But, I must say from the moment we walked into the office until the time we checked out was non the less that exceptional! We were greated with a smile from the staff that informed us of the surrouning area, this was very helpful. We stayed in the Towers, again a little nervous but when we walked into the room it was so clean and very spacious. It was perfect and Aydan stated, "Oh Nana it smells so god in here." The maid service was superb, making sure we were never without towels or anything. The location was awesome, so few steps and you are on the beach. This is perfect when you only have a little one to help carry things down to the beach. Did I mention Aydan finally got the hang of a boogie board during this visit. We visited Ripley's Aquarium and The Dixie Stampede, both events just blew this six year's old mind away, he was totally amazed and enjoyed these to the max. We ate at Cheeseburger In Paradise, JB's Margaritaville, K & W, and a little sub shop next door to Cheeseburger In Paradise - all were exceptional! We ended our trip by visiting Wings and purchasing a hermit crab and the kit. This child has not stopped talking about this trip and is begging to go back. Honestly, if I could I would not have changed anything about this trip. It was perfect - we do plan to return to SC and we will definately stay with Caravelle. We would love to bring some of this to the NC beaches, but since we can't we just head down to SC. Love you guys and thank you for making memories of a summer vacation that a little six year old and his Nana will never forget.
