For many years we rented several rooms and entertained our customers and their families with a long weekend at The Caravelle. My family and friends new that the third week in June was reserved for The Caravelle. We had so much fun, the long weekend became a week and sometimes longer if we had the time. Other guests of the Caravelle would make their reservation at the same time and we became a large group. The Caravelle is a great family vacation place. The kids were always kept busy doing fun things they enjoyed giving me time to relax. Always in the evening we brought our deck chairs and sat on the grass area. One night we had a talent contest and even asked people walking on the beach to come up and take part in the show. Amazingly, there are some really talented people on that beach. We met some amazing people and year after year we would get together. After about 14 years, my life changed and I could not make the trip any longer. However, my very good friends still go, they have never missed a year. I miss our great times at The Caravelle and I will always treasure the amazing friendships I made there. That time of year is almost upon us once again and I wish I could be there to talk of all the great times we shared over the those years. I will definately get back there one year.
