Holding on to the memories…

The first time I stayed at the Caravelle resort was in 2006. My husband, my children, my mother in law and I went for a few days to unwind and relax before my husband's first 15 month deployment to Afghanistan. It is a memory I will always remember, we had a blast and was able to share some romantic memories together! We did not have to leave the resort because everything was there. This year as I sit on the balcony alone this time around. I will remember what fun we had together and it will give me a memory to hold me through another 10 months. You see my husband is back in Afghanistan for another year deployment, but what a smile I will have on my face remembering the times we shared together at the Caravelle Resort.
