March 21, 2006 our oldest son, four years old at the time, had open heart surgery.  He did great through the surgery, we came home and was home for 2 1/2 weeks and on April 7, 2006, he had a massive stroke on his left side.  We then spent the next three weeks in Children's Hospital in Cincinnati.  We are very blessed because he has made about a 90% recovery from the stroke, but during all of this, I was pregnant with my second child, whom also was born with two holes in his heart.  Needless to say, 2006 was a horrible year for us.  I was scheduled to go back to work around mid August, but we had decided that since we had had such a tough year, we were STILL going to take a trip to the beach.  We had heard about your resort through a friend and decided that this would be the place that we would need to go to get away from all of the doctors and hospitals.  When we came, our baby was only five weeks old.  We were welcomed by the nicest Manager and staff who helped us with a room in the hotel.  This was just the break all of us needed.  It turned out to the most enjoyable visit ever!  It was really great to see my husband and son playing on the beach and in the pools with big smiles on their faces.  We have being trying to come back once a year ever since and plan on making this a yearly thing.  Our oldest still can tell us what room number we had, where we go to eat and everything!  He has not forgotten this first trip either!  Thanks Caravelle!  You helped us out in ways you don't even realize!  You all are wonderful with a beautiful Resort and have a great family package that really fits a family budget!  Thanks again!
