My family has been visiting the Caravelle Resort in Myrtle Beach since I was a little girl. Myrtle Beach holds my families fondest memories and seems to always been amongst our conversations when we are together. We have been wanting to plan a family vacation back to Myrtle Beach for sometime now, but never can seem to get the family together.

I was recently engaged on August 20, 2008 and my fiance and I knew that we wanted to have a destination wedding since my family lives in Indiana, his in Kansas, and we both live in Dallas, TX. We thought of traveling to exotic resorts in Jamaica, or someplace similar, but landed on Myrtle Beach instead.

The memory that still holds strongest of Myrtle Beach is vacationing their with my mother. That was the last vacation that my family had with my mother, before she passed away in 1996. We have only been back once, but it was right after she had passed away, so it wasn't the happiest experience that we have to remember of Myrtle Beach. We have not been back since. The thought of bringing family and friends together to share on our happy day in Myrtle Beach, just makes the idea more realistic.

I would love to get married at Myrtle Beach and bring back all my childhood memories to myself and my family, as well as feel like my mother is amongst us at the wedding.
