Hi!  I don't know what to title my story; I have so many memories.  MY first visit to the Caravelle was in 1994 for my honeymoon. In all of Myrtle Beach, The Caravelle was the only resort with a "honeymoon package"  They gave us a welcome basket along with coupons for free breakfast everyday of our stay and also one free dinner.  We enjoyed them at the Santa Maria resturant. Our first night there I made my husband stay up all night to watch the sun come-up over the ocean. We had such a wonderful time that we booked our vacation for the next year before we left to return home. 

On our return trip in 1995 there was a family tragedy back home.  The Caravel staff was so accomodating in our time of need.  We rebooked the vacation for October of 1995 later that summer.  Once again our trip was wonderful.  My husband and I stay in the St. Clements building all the time.  It is like being at home! 

 We returned to The Caravelle, and the St. Clements Bldg., in 2003 after many years of not taking a vacation.  Once again, the staff did an awesome job to accomodate our needs.  We especially like to hang-out at the St. Clements Beach Bar and Grill with Luke.  We have watched the World Series games, NFL football games.  We especially like when the Steelers play on monday nights; we just go down to the grill and watch the game.  We have met people from all over the USA and Canada while there. 

I also enjoy the many ammenities of The Caravelle.  I especially love to float in the lazy-river for hours at a time.  Even if it is rainning there is a place to swim in one of the many pools. 

This year (2010) we actually have friends all the way from Iowa coming to meet us.  I am so excited that I get to share the Caravelle and all of its ammenities with them.  I can hardly wait!  I am sure that this trip is going to be as wonderful has those gone by. Hurry-up  October and get here!
