I could not have asked for a more pleasant and relaxing beach vacation.  I visited The Caravelle from 07/03/08 - 07/13/08.....what an awesome 10 days.....on the beach away from the every day work/mom/wife routine. 

My son and I went with a friend and her 2 sons.  I truly got to "vacation" - sleep in every day, had very friendly maid service daily, smell the ocean every day all day, walk with the sand between my toes, walk up and down Ocean Blvd even if it was just to grab a tasty Starbucks coffee, etc... plenty of sight seeing & shopping to do.  I love to eat out & more than enough family restuarants to eat at - could'nt even hit a 1/3 of what I would have liked to! 

We met people from all over - especially Ohio.  My son met a little boy from Ohio & they had a blast playing, talking, getting to know each other a little....etc. 

The Caravelle has beautiful up to date furnished, yet cost-friendly suites.  We roomed on the 7th floor with an ocean view - absolutely beautiful sight to wake up to and go to sleep with every night.  During the day and early evening my son figured his way around quickly and was quick to ask "Mom, may I go to the pool, or hot tub, or terrace, or game room, or gym, or ice-cream shop?" - Needless to say there is plenty to do without even leaving the resort! 

Would I recommend The Caravelle to my friends and family? YOU BETCHA!  See you next summer - guaranteed! ! !
