Our family had enjoyed annual vacations at the Caravelle for many years.  We began visiting the Beach when our two children were toddlers.  When they were young teens, we began going west to National Parks instead of east to Myrtle Beach, resulting in a five year lapse in our visits to the Caravelle. 

As our 25th wedding anniversay approached, we decided we wanted to return to the Caravelle as we had made so many wonderful family memories there.  As we approached the Caravelle, it was just like coming home!  We had a fantastic stay.  Our children, now young adults, enjoyed themselves just as much as they did when they were younger.  While hotel staff is wonderful, the pool area is awesome, and the new remodelled rooms are beautiful, what draws us the most is the beach.  There is nothing like a walk in front of the Caravelle in the early morning to renew and refresh the spirit.
