The first time I came to Myrtle Beach was when I was a freshman in college. We stayed at a hotel near the amusement area which made me feel like I was at a circus the whole time. I wasn't too impressed with Myrtle Beach on that trip. Several years later, now a wife and mom, we joined my extended family for a week at a condo in Carolina Dunes.

What a difference a location made! We absolutely loved it! The beach was beautiful, the condo was spotless every day, the staff was so friendly and accomodating, and our 2 year old son loved the entire stay. This was the first time he had been to the ocean. What wonderful memories were made during those 7 days with his 2 cousins playing in the sand and water. We have come back to the Caravelle about every other year since.

We have since stayed in other buildings in the complex, with the last several times being in an oceanfront executive suite in the tower. Even though my children are now 20 and 18, they still say that Myrtle Beach is their favorite vacation destination. They are wanting us to try to squeeze a trip in this summer as a family. I'm all for that! :)

We have recommended Caravelle Resort to many of our friends and they have loved it too. Thanks for so many wonderful memories over the past 15+ years. We will cherish them forever!
