We were at The Caravelle from July 2-July 7, 2008. We had three rooms. One was for ourselves, and one for each of our daughters and their families. Our name is Wallace and the other two were Frady and Faris. We were in rooms 1201, 1202, and 1203.

The very best thing about our recent visit to the Caravelle was the people. From the reservation person (Lori) to the check in clerk, to the housekeeper, to the head of maintenance and for certain the people in the Santa Maria, everyone was just as nice and pleasant as we could ask for. The ladies in the Santa Maria were especially great and considering that we interacted with them for 5 days, that says a lot. All of them in the restaurant were so polite and helpful. As we had a 6 grandchildren with us from ages 10 down to 5 months, the help and courtesy was just wonderful.

You may be a resort with some nice amenities and some nice rooms, but nothing can replace having a staff that makes guests feel great about their stay and that is exactly what we experienced during our stay. This was the fifth year that we have been there and we fully intend for next year to be number 6.
