It was 1990 (I think) and we had never been to MB and starting phoning many hotels only to be told NO rooms available anywhere. We're Canadian and didn't realize what a popular area you were for our school break. Finally another hotel told us that the Caravelle was about to open a new tower and they thought it was ready. We called, it was and we have stayed nowhere else for many years. We almost had very sad little children but you saved the day. Kids are grown but we retirees still return.
