My only trophy that I have ever gotten was won at the Caravelle in 1978! How do I know this? I still have the trophy and it sits proudly on my mantle thirty years later. Three generations of our family( at least 15 of us)used to go every year to the Caravelle in the 70's. In 1978, they had a kid's social director named Kim. What a great guy! Kim had us six kids moving all the time. We met some nice kids.. ( Hey Jim from Maryland are you out there some where? You still wearing your pukashell necklace?) Anyway, Kim piled us into the van and took us miniature golfing and when we got back I was awarded the small trophy because I had the best score! What a happy day it was! And to this day.. if anyone mentions miniature golf- they hear the story, see my trophy and my mind flashes back to that day at the Caravelle. This year we are going back to the Caravelle to relive old family memories and to celebrate my parent's 50th Wedding Anniversary!
