My family has been coming to The Caravelle for years for our family reunion. My husband and I decided to bring our boys during Spring Break (2007). It was their first time coming to the beach and they were sooo excited. When we got to the hotel, I was so impressed by the renovations and the kids were going bonkers over the waterpark. It was a little cool but much warmer than Ohio. They had so much fun playing in the sand, the waterpark, the pool, the ocean. Our room was great and we made great memories. They looked for seashells everyday and built sandcastles. It was such a treat since they were used to snow and cooler weather in Ohio during that time.The hotel is extremely family-friendly and had lots of kid activities. They loved looking at the calendar and planning their day. They have asked to go back every year during their spring break and we plan to make it a tradition to go every year.
