My wife and I got married November 19, 1994. We took our first vacation in the summer of 1995 and went to Myrtle Beach, SC. We decided to stay at the Caravelle Towers for 5 nights. We brought our dry goods and found a grocery store a block away and bought our cold items.

We had a blast. We would spend most of our time on the beach and every evening we would go on walks along the beach. On our walks we saw crabs, fish swimming in the shallows, a dead jellyfish, and one time the lifeguards blew their whistles because they spotted a shark in the waters. It was relaxing, amazing and enjoyable.

We could not have asked for a better first vacation together. The room was great, the service at the hotel was great and now we are bringing our two children with us next week to stay at the Caravelle Towers. We want them to see what an awesome vacation we had there and help create great memories with our kids. Our two sons (9,4) can't wait to get to the beach and the pools.
