I
played Prestwick Country Club, Pete Dye's first in Myrtle Beach, a few weeks
back in January. The course was in
pretty good condition overall. The
greens rolled true (as well as they will when I putt anyway) and the fairways
were manicured so the ball generally sat up well for a good lie when I hit it
in the fairway. This time of the year
Prestwick keeps the rough dormant so the lighter colored rough provides a great
look against the green fairways.
