I have been a slacker with the Caravelle Golf blog since its inception the first of the year. I will be the first to admit that. I attribute it to two things: 1.) We are right smack in the middle of Myrtle Beach spring golf season and we have been very busy taking care of all of our Caravelle golfers. 2.) I have been playing like a pig.

I did have an opportunity to tee it up with one of my seasonal employees, KT, and a couple of my friends, Brad and Candace (If anyone out there is in need of a female scramble partner, she is your girl) at Willbrook Plantation. In three years this is only my second trip to Willbrook, the first time playing my own ball. Let me tell you, I have been missing out.

Monday After the Masters Golf Event a Big Hit Again in 2008

The 2008 Hootie and the Blowfish Monday After the Masters Celebrity Pro-Am finished up late Monday evening after the host group put on a spectacular concert performance at the Myrtle Beach House of Blues, and at the end of this great event the event is expected to have raised upwards of a half million dollars to be put towards junior golf and education charities.

The Myrtle Beach Golf Community Asks You to "Know Your Score"

ESPN commentator and prostate cancer survivor Mitch Laurance offers a special message about the "Know Your Score" campaign that us members of the Myrtle Beach golf community want to spread to all of our visitors.  The campaign to fight prostate cancer seeks volunteers for its closest to the pin fundraisers that are being held each Saturday in April.
