Steve Calfee: Outdoor Live Entertainment on the Lawn

Steve is an original member of “Lost Soul” and “John Band." He has played The Bowery in Myrtle for two seasons. While playing there, he split one season with “Wild Country”
who later become the world-wide country band “Alabama”.
Steve and Alyce, along with Kenny Irvin and Steve Rayborn, created the original Myrtle Beach “Pool-Party Band” at a local hotel which started the daytime “Pool-Party” fun in Myrtle Beach. Along the way, they backed up the founding members of the “Tams” and Eddie Cornelius of the “Cornelius Brothers and Sister Rose”.
As a club agent, lighting and sound manager, Steve has worked with various legends in the music industry. As owner and producer/engineer of Southern Star Recording Studio, Steve has done recording sessions for national releases by “Beach Music Female Vocalists of the Year” Terri Gore, husband/wife team Donnie & Susan Trexler, Drifter’s vocalist John Ellison, and many other artists for Chris Biehler’s Rochester, New York based Forevermore Records.
Steve does a variety of music including Beach Music, Jimmy Buffett, R&B, current hits or Classic Rock. Bring the family out for a night of fun musical entertainment!
