The Caravelle’s Fun Poolscape
Christy Rooker, a recent Caravelle guest, was just chillin’ catching a tan on the resort’s “Block Long Poolscape” when I walked up. “We’ve been down here since Saturday,” said the Louisville, WV native. “We’ve been to Pirates Voyage, Ripley’s Aquarium, done lots of shopping and eating. Now we’re just enjoying the beach and the pool.”
It was so peaceful in the mid-morning hours out by the pool that at first I thought she was asleep! Most visitors to Myrtle Beach are just like Christy. They take their last few days after visiting fun spots all over the city and just relax at the resort in places like the Poolscape. “I’ve been out here floating around the Lazy River for about an hour now,” she said. Over the next couple of hours, Christy never left her spot. As I walked away, she just threw me a peace sign and put her shades back on, re-entering her relaxation mode.
The long Poolscape has everything you and your family will need for a day of relaxation and fun. There’s the large heated pool, whirlpool, the Lazy River for adults, the Kiddie Lazy River, and the Wild Water Pool that everyone loves. The Wild Water Pool for kids even has colorful obstacles, a big blue pool umbrella with water that constantly runs down the sides, and a really big bucket that constantly fills up with water and then flips over. The thing is, you never know when the water in the bucket will reach the top because the huge brown pail is set high above everything else in the pool. You’ll be splashing around having fun when all of a sudden, it’ll just tip over and drench whoever happens to be standing there at the time. It almost soaked me in my workclothes as I walked by!
The Caravelle’s Block Long Poolscape is fun for all ages. So sit back, relax, and enjoy!
