Summer Fireworks in Myrtle Beach

One of the things that I love about Myrtle Beach in the summertime is the warm nights. I used to get off work in the evenings and just walk the beach barefoot all the way home, enjoying the sound of the waves and sand between my toes. My favorite nights were the evenings when there was a fireworks show, because on these evenings, the beach would be crowded with tourists and locals enjoying the magnificent view.

There’s nothing like being on the ocean with your friends and family watching the fireworks light up the sky. All you really need is a big beach towel or chair and some time to enjoy the beauty. Fireworks shows are events that everyone looks forward to during the summer months.

There are three various locations here in Myrtle Beach that put on fireworks displays that you do not want to miss!  My personal favorite place to view the sky-lighting fireworks is Second Avenue Pier each Wednesday at 10:00pm.  I like Second Avenue Pier the best because you are near the water and very close to Ocean Blvd., so when the show in the sky is over, you are just a short walk to all of the shops and restaurants on the strip.

Broadway at the Beach (just a few miles south of The Caravelle) does their summer fireworks show every Tuesday at 10:00pm. This is another great location to be in before and after the fireworks, with a movie theater and plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Barefoot Landing, (just a few miles north of The Caravelle Resort) will be having their fireworks show starting June 1st all the way up until August 31st at 10:15 every Monday. This venue also has great shopping and dining options.

Enjoy your warm summer nights this year with the fireworks, food, and fun here on the Grand Strand!
