The Ripley’s Fun Run

Many Grand Strand visitors are looking for an enjoyable way to blend some family time into all of the exciting events that are being held for long & short distance runners around Myrtle Beach in February. If this is you, sign up for the Ripley’s Fun Run.

At 5:30 p.m. on February 15, 2013, all participants will line up in front of Ripley’s Aquarium, which is located at 1110 Celebrity Circle inside of beautiful Broadway at the Beach. The run itself will be one mile long, and will end up where it began. To enter the race, all you have to do is register. After the run is over, there will also be a Junior Post Race Party from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Light refreshments will be served free for anyone with tickets or race bibs.

The great time that you’ll spend with friends and family at the fun run will be for a good cause. This charitable event is to support Horry County Schools, and whichever school has the most participants in the run will take home the Traveling Trophy. Garden City’s Seaside Elementary hasn’t been beaten yet!

As always at Ripley’s, you’ll experience breathtaking aquatic habitats and sea creatures up close and personal, giving your family an entertaining and informational look at exotic and underwater sea life from around the planet. While you’re at the post run festivities, you’ll have an opportunity to be captivated by what this treasured Myrtle Beach spectacle has to offer.
