Our Beautiful Myrtle Beach Weather
One of the things that everyone loves about Myrtle Beach is our beautiful fall weather. Each year, warm temperatures and light breezes attract hundreds of golf groups, business representatives, and families to the Grand Strand … even after the busy summer season!
In Myrtle Beach, you’ll notice that the fall attracts many folks from cold weather locations as the temperatures begin to drop in their hometowns. For example, there are lots of Canadians and other northerners from the New England area that head down to the Grand Strand and stay with us here at the Caravelle. We nickname them “Snowbirds” since they relocate each year about this time to enjoy the warm sunshine down south!
With the moderate autumn temps, it’s hard to imagine that Halloween is right around the corner. There’s no need for big jackets or a lot of heavy clothing when you visit the Grand Strand. I have to admit…this weather has me sooo spoiled! I say that because I’ve gotten so used to it being nice and warm, that to me, even 55 degrees is cold (our average temp at night). But head places like Broadway at the Beach or the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, and you’re sure to see tourists in shorts and t-shirts enjoying the outdoors throughout the fall season!
I’ve lived here for a while, so I know first hand how blessed we are to enjoy these great temps. According to MyrtleBeachWeather.com and The Weather Channel, the average air temperature in September & October in the Myrtle Beach area is about 80 degrees, and the ocean water is right at 75 degrees. Vacationers around the world trust these sources when planning their trips to the Grand Strand.
So pack your bags and head to The Caravelle! Check out our weather page to start planning your vacation. Can’t wait to see ya!
