Magic at the Caravelle

Last summer, The Caravelle introduced Magic Al to their summer itinerary. Magic Al was an instant success with Caravelle guests of all ages. The moment he stepped onto the property, wearing his trademark black fedora, specially designed shirt and balloon carrier, a hint of magic and fun was instantly in the air. As if by magic, children and adults would leave the pool, hot tub, sun lounger or their place in line at the Pirate’s Cove ice cream shop to follow Magic Al and form a line in front of him. Visible in his carrier were un-inflated balloons in every color imaginable and every person knew within a few minutes a specially created balloon would be in their hands.

Watching a professional balloonist is a timeless experience that people of every age still enjoy to this day. During the hot summer months, Magic Al worked through the humid heat anywhere from the ocean front lawn to the registration lobby. Balloons requested were typically cats, dogs, sharks, penguins, swords and hats. Magic All could normally create advanced balloon requests in 5-6 minutes. He spent this last winter improving his creating time to 3-4 minutes for advanced balloons and has introduced even more balloon types such as Buzz Lightyear, The Little Mermaid, Tinkerbell, an adorable monkey and ninja turtles. In addition to this advanced balloon creating abilities, Magic Al entertains crowds with all your favorite magic tricks like multiple card tricks, cups and balls, floating dollar and the classic coin behind the ear trick.

Magic Al won the hearts of not only our Caravelle guests but also the hearts of the staff of the Resort and because of his jovial and professional talents he will return to our property Spring/Summer 2012. You can find Magic Al creating professional balloons and magic anywhere from the front registration office, the ocean front lawn, or the Santa Maria restaurant. Magic Al has been perfecting his talents since the age of 5 and coming this summer, he will have classes to teach other children his craft. All of his services are complimentary to guests of Caravelle Rental Management. This is just a small part of what makes staying at The Caravelle such an amazing experience.
