Get Your Adrenaline Pumping on the Zip Line
Catching a great view of the coast is one of the main reasons tourists visit the Grand Strand. Why not see everything while shooting 40 miles per hour down a zip line?
At the same location where the Myrtle Beach Pavilion was (9th Ave North & Ocean Blvd.) is Myrtle Beach Zipline Adventures, a must visit during your stay. Glide through the air over 600 feet from tower to tower with 5 of your friends racing beside you. When you arrive, the friendly, helpful staff will suit you up with your safety equipment. Then, you all will climb the stairs to the top of the first tower as your hearts begin to pound in anticipation. When you reach the summit, you’ll be able to see clear to the busy boardwalk, along the Atlantic Ocean, and as far down as the south end of Myrtle Beach.
Now that you and your friends are attached to the line, there’s only one thing left to do – soar to the opposite tower! If you fly on the zip line at night, you’ll get to see a beautiful neon light show at the complex, complimented by the thousands of bright lights on the nearby Sky Wheel.
The 60-foot free fall is only for the bravest souls in your group. If you thought the zip line was exciting, this long drop will definitely plant a concrete memory. Just wear comfortable clothes (like a t-shirt and shorts) and remove all of your hanging jewelry and other loose items beforehand. If you go to Myrtle Beach Zipline Adventures on Friday or Saturday between 5 and 10 p.m. or on Sunday from Noon until 10 with your VMB Card, you’ll receive a Combo Buy of the Zip Line and the Free Fall Tower for $35!
