Event Planning at Caravelle Resort: The Perfect Choice
If you are planning an event in the Myrtle Beach area, look no further than The Caravelle Resort.
Emily Smith, The Caravelle Resort’s Sales Manager and Conference Sales Coordinator, enjoys helping couples and families plan their special events at the resort.
“Getting everything done in one day is my biggest challenge,” says the Loris, SC native. “I can sometimes take more time if I need it. Getting the job finished accurately is my biggest concern.”
The St. John’s Inn, a property that’s connected to The Caravelle Resort, is the perfect place to have your hospitality event, meeting, banquet, family reunion, or wedding. Dozens of guests enjoy the beautiful, spacious ballrooms every year. St. John’s has three salons: A, B, & C.
Salon A is 40’x30’, B is 24’x30’, and C is 25’x80’. The great thing is that, if you want, you could combine them all into one facility if you needed more seating. We can accommodate between 50 and 300 people. Beverage planning is available, as well as catering services which include a variety of menus. Music and decorations are also permitted.
“My favorite events are the weddings,” Emily says. “They are so romantic. My husband and I were married at St. John’s Inn on October 22nd, 2011.”
To keep things simple, it’s required that the total number of people attending your event be given to the resort ten days before your function takes place (you must have at least 50 guests). If you happen to be little off-count, though, don’t worry. The Caravelle has your back, and will be willing to serve up to 4% over your pre-guaranteed number of people.
The Caravelle Resort’s affordable reception packages start at $350.00, and that includes set-up and clean-up fees, round tables for 8-10 people, banquet chairs, cake and gift tables, a 12’x16’ foot dance floor, and much more. You also can customize your package with special requests like centerpieces, a chocolate fountain, icicle lights, or champagne toasts.
The St. John’s Inn is conveniently located only one block south of The Caravelle’s front check-in desk.
