Mornings at the Ocean
The Caravelle Resort, as you know, is located right next to the beautiful Atlantic. When folks visit Myrtle Beach, one of the things people enjoy most is breathing in the fresh morning air.
My favorite way to start the day is to wake up and head to the beach around 7am. The shore is absolutely beautiful at this time, and there is just a complete feeling of peace. Today the water is calm, and there are a few folks enjoying the wonderful view of the sun gleaming off of the water. There are joggers kicking up sand as they run by, couples taking early walks, and backpackers collecting seashells.
This morning, I’m choosing to enjoy this amazing view from one of the wooden bench areas at the St. Clements beach walkover. This is a great area to sit, relax and enjoy the sound of the waves hitting the shore while staying at The Caravelle Resort. Cozy up with a good book, make a quick stop in between the shore and the resort to dry off and soak up some sun, or snap a few photos to show off to your friends and family!
Before heading to the Atlantic, you will want to keep in mind a few Myrtle Beach laws. First, changing clothes is not allowed on the beach or in your car. Secondly, there is no driving allowed anywhere on the sandy beaches. Third, fires and grills are not permitted on the beach. But don’t worry … The Caravelle has a great picnic and grill area located at the St. John’s Inn that is perfect for grilling out for smaller families. Finally, umbrellas are allowed on the beach – just remember to set them up at least 10 feet behind the lifeguard stands.
Have fun at the water – we can’t wait to see ya!
