Halloween Fun in Myrtle Beach
Halloween in Myrtle Beach is so much fun! But where is the best place to get your costume? And, after you find the coolest one, where can you go to show it off in Myrtle Beach?
If you want to get unique gear, go to Imaginations Inc. Whether you’re an adult or kid, they have costumes for all ages … and just about everything you can think of! Whether you want be Elvis, a pirate, or Little Red Riding Hood, you’re sure to find the perfect costume for you. All of the hats, wigs, masks, accessories, and props that you’ll need are included in their wide selection. I spoke with Jay Coley, one of the owners of the popular costume store, and he says this is their busiest time of the year. “We get requests for everything man,” said the 14-year vendor. “Lately, a lot of kids have been asking for Sophia the First outfits, and adults have wanted a lot of Wizard of Oz costumes. Everyone is trying to get ready for the big contest at Broadway at the Beach. We actually close a little early on that day, so we can make it there on time!”
Once you’ve succeeded in finding the perfect dress, Broadway at the Beach is definitely the place to go for Halloween fun. Broadway at the Beach is located at 1325 Celebrity Circle, a few miles south of the Caravelle Resort. There will be trick or treating for the kids from 4:30-6:30pm on Halloween night, and the Saturday before Halloween is the annual costume party for adults in Celebrity Square (the huge party starts around 8:00 pm). You can enter the contest to win 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place, and as long as you have on a costume, you can get into Broadway Louie’s, Malibu's Surf Bar, Froggy Bottomz, Club Boca, Crocodile Rocks, Rodeo Bar & Grill and Revolutions free of charge!
Happy Halloween and be safe!
