Fun 4th of July Events on the Grand Strand
There’s a bunch of fun stuff to do on the 4th of July here in Myrtle Beach. Here are a few of the most popular local events you can enjoy this Independence Day, 2015:
The Cupcake Eating Contest at Croissants Bistro & Bakery
I know, I know. The Fourth of July is supposed to be about firing up the BBQ grill and cooking out. But, after all that food, you’ll want a dessert, and this is the perfect contest for anyone with a major sweet tooth. If you think you can become the 2015 Cupcake Champion, visit Croissants Bistro and Bakery located at 3751 Robert Grissom Parkway, just a short drive south of The Caravelle Resort. The event is being held from 2-5pm Saturday, July 4th, and for registration info, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call (843) 448-2253.
Myrtle Beach Fireworks
If there's one thing we know for sure, it wouldn't be the Fourth of July without fireworks! Luckily, there will be a number of fireworks displays on the 4th so you'll have plenty of options to choose from the list below:
• Broadway at the Beach at 10 p.m.
• 2nd Ave. Pier at 10 p.m.
• Barefoot Landing at 10:15 p.m.
• Surfside Beach Pier at 9:30 p.m.
• Murrells Inlet at Veteran’s Pier at 10 p.m.
Whatever you decide to do on this Fourth of July 2015, be safe, and have a Happy Independence Day!
