Enjoy your 2013 Father’s Day in Myrtle Beach!
Myrtle Beach provides the perfect getaway for Father’s Day. There’s golfing, great food, and even a baseball game you can attend with good old Pops!
I’m not a dad myself, but if I was, I know what I’d want for Father’s Day – a little peace and quiet! The Caravelle Resort has wonderful golf packages to the many beautiful and serene courses all over the area. Give your dad a little “me” time with a tee time at Grand Dunes, Kings North at Myrtle Beach National, TPC of Myrtle Beach, Blackmoor, or the Dunes Golf and Beach Club. If you want to mix and match specials, just talk with our helpful golf department…they’re flexible!
After some quiet time on the green, I would probably want to do something exciting. Guess what…there’s a baseball game at Pelicans Stadium on Father’s Day! The Myrtle Beach Pelicans play the Carolina Mudcats at 6:00 pm that Sunday, and after the many pre-game activities, the entire game will be dedicated to fathers everywhere. People with VMB cards get discounts to food and items from the pro shop, and there’s even a fireworks display after the game that you can enjoy with your dad.
After all that, there’s just one more thing that I’d want on Father’s Day…a big juicy steak! Lucky for your dad, Myrtle Beach has plenty of restaurant options. Let’s see, there’s T-Bonz Gill and Grill at Barefoot Landing, Texas Roadhouse Grill at Coastal Grande Mall, Rodeo Bar and Grill on Broadway at the Beach, Rioz Brazilian Steakhouse at 2920 Hollywood Drive, or New York Prime at 405 28th Avenue North, just to name a few. They are all a short drive from The Caravelle, and each offers VMB card discounts as well (you know, so you’ll have more money for your Father’s Day gift!).
Happy Father’s Day to my dad McCurtis Woods! I love you Pop! Happy Father’s Day 2013 to all father’s all over the world, and I hope you enjoy yours here on the Grand Strand.
