The Caravelle Cup charity golf tournament returns for our fourth year and this year we've brought some exciting changes.  After holding our event in March for the first three years, we've moved it to May 13-16 to optimize golf course and weather conditions.

As in each of the last two years, the tournament will be a two man Texas scramble with the first round held on Friday, May 14 at Arrowhead Country Club and the second round will be on Saturday, May 15 at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club.  This year however, we will also be holding the Caravelle Collegiate Cup in conjunction with the Plantation Junior Golf Tour, and each team will play their first round paired with  a college player as they compete in their own stroke play event.  On day two, the Collegiate Cup will continue at Arrowhead, while the Caravelle Cup participants move over to the Dunes Club.

Player parties will also be held on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at The Caravelle with free food, drinks and a variety of giveaways.

Our event was recently featured in the Myrtle Beach Sun News.  Click here for the story.

Caravelle Cup packages start at only $399 per player and include three nights at The Caravelle, two rounds of golf, daily breakfast, nightly player parties and welcome gift.  Contact our golf department at (843) 918-7008 or click here to email us.

We are excited that our third annual Caravelle Cup golf tournament to benefit The First Tee of Myrtle Beach will take place in less than three weeks, running from March 5 - March 8.  After two successful events that have raised in excess of $2500 for The First Tee, our third year offers an exciting addition to the event.  Participants will once again be set in two man teams, as we hold the first round in a Texas Scramble format at Arrowhead Country Club and this year the second round will be a best ball format at the famous Dunes Golf and Beach Club, recently ranked as the 28th best public course in the United States by Golf Digest.

We will have a welcome pairing party on Thursday, March 5 for all participants, as well as our fundraiser party on March 6 for all involved.  Both events will feature complimentary beverages and heavy hors d'oeurves and a lot of fun for all.  Saturday will wrap up the weekend with a post round awards reception.

Packages for the tournament are surprisingly affordable.  Player packages including both rounds of golf and entrance to all three parties is $279 for one person, or $500 per twosome.  Accommodations packages start at only $399, and include three nights accommodations and daily buffet breakfast.
