Blue Crab Festival

Come join the Grand Strand area in Little River, South Carolina for their 33rd annual Blue Crab Festival! It is not only a fabulous fix for crab lovers, but an enjoyable experience for children, art lovers, and anyone looking for ample entertainment and unique food from specialty food vendors.
It all began back in 1981 and was only a small waterfront gathering, but it has turned into a huge event that draws in visitors from around the country.
The world famous festival takes place water front in Little River, South Carolina on May 17th and May 18th. There will of course be fresh seafood. Food and snack vendors will be everywhere with delicious sweets like candy apples and cotton candy. Helicopter rides will be an event that you will not want to miss there. Beautiful, live blue crabs will be on display.
For kids they have arts and crafts booths, a petting zoo, and other games and amusements. Live entertainment includes bands and singers performing for your enjoyment as you stroll around and absorb the South Carolina culture and delicious sea food.
This is a huge event you do not want to miss! There are over 50,000 people in attendance every year. It is easy to lose track of time when exploring the 200 vendors on site.
The festival will take place on Saturday, May 17th, and Sunday May 18th from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. at Waterfront Drive in Little River, South Carolina.
